Amaroo On Mandalay is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway, located just eight kilometres off Townsville, on picturesque Magnetic Island.

Located in Nelly Bay on Magnetic Island, surrounded on 2 sides by Magnetic Island National Park, Amaroo On Mandalay sits on an area of 10 acres, has a large magnesium salt pool, wading pool, large open spaces, tennis courts, function rooms, gymnasium, BBQ area and playground. Free private parking is available on site.

This Magnetic Island resort boasts lush tropical grounds that house a variety of units available – different styles and sizes to suit all budgets and enough units to house bigger groups. Rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV. The units feature a private bathroom complete with shower and toilet. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer.

All of the units also come with a kitchenette featuring a fridge, kettle and kitchen essentials for your stay, and offer an outdoor patio to sit and relax on, while there you may be lucky enough to have a visit from some of the local wildlife.

Amaroo On Mandalay is ideally located in Nelly Bay where the ferry docks. The Picnic Bay Bus stops right at the front of Amaroo On Mandalay. They also have a free shuttle to and from the terminal – subject to availability.
